Picking songs

Well I'm picking songs again for Sunday. Songs of Fellowship book 5 on order! There are so many great worship songs we just don't get time to learn ... anyone know any really brilliant ones we should look at???

Medieval Harvest is coming up!

Well the harvest supper is approaching once more and this year the Church has decided we're going medieval! Medieval banquets are fiine but I've been tasked with finding the music once more and this time I'm looking for music that is both entertaining funny clean and has something of a 'Hey nonny nonny' feel.

It's not that simple.

We don't have that many medieval instruments knocking around - I suppose de-stringing the guitar slightly to give that weird 'is it out of tune?' lute sound, is one possibility. We do have some recorders including a tenor recorder if I can find where we put them.

Lute music isn't that exciting though for an hour and a half unless you're passionate about lutes music and I doubt it's to everyone's taste, so I'm thinking of spicing it up a bit with some folk rock!

Well, team, ready for some youtube links to start us thinking? We've only got a week!
